Whenever we go to the farmers market and drive home Kai pulls out the dill and eats it. This time he pulled out the whole thing..Maybe he needed something to chew on. It turned out he is cutting another tooth..this one is number 7..8 will be close behind..
Today was the first hot day, it's not even May yet..I am not ready for this..it was in the mid 90's. Here is a picture from yesterday at the park. Kai is wearing a little outfit his auntie got him from Hawaii Also Kai's top teeth are in, for a total of 6! Finally he is feeling a little better.. We are hoping ( fingers crossed) that we get at least a month break before the bottom side teeth come in. In this picture you can see his emerging teeth
I was putting off trimming Kai's hair, but I finally did the other day. Here are before and after shots Before
Also his tooth that we were waiting on turned out to be TWO teeth coming in at the same time. They have broken through but he still seems bothered. Now he has a total of 5 teeth!! I guess the 6th will be coming soon.
This is a new version of a drawing I did last summer. Usually when I look back at artwork from the past I see everything I did "wrong" and immediately want to change it. Hopefully that means I am improving and refining and not just changing my mind! I looked back at my blog a year ago and two things struck me #1 How I thought about so many things other than my baby and now it is all baby all the time (well he wasn't born yet) #2 How horrible the drawings I put up were. I always find I need to do a drawing and then let time pass, to get distance from it and then I can see what needs to be changed. I think most artist have that feeling. It is like at the time you do the drawing you think it's cool, maybe even great and then you look back in a year or more and are horrified. Maybe it's just me? I am going to color this one in now..until Kai wakes..
