There is one thing I can say about L.A. -there is no shortage of things to take pictures of. We take a lot of pictures, well mostly my husband does. He drives around a lot for his work, and has gotten some really interesting pictures. I think we could fill up a whole website of just pictures from Los Angeles. I just thought I'd share a few..
The first picture is China Town at night, the rest is around downtown L.A. There are a lot of old and cool looking buildings.
Here are a couple pictures that I took from my old work, when I was playing textile designer downtown in the garment district. The first one is from the roof of the building looking in one direction. The second one is looking in the other direction. Can you see the shopping carts filled with a few people's entire belongings? The building is two blocks from skid row.
Los Angeles County is incredibly diverse in any and every way you can imagine. Urban collides with suburban, rich stands next to poor and wild flies above developed.
Runaway parrots love L.A., specifically Pasadena and Malibu. First picture is parrot butts, second parrots in a tree.
In the midst of it all we sometimes manage to find a little peace.
Cal Tech Campus is very beautiful and peaceful, these two pictures are both taken there. Sasha likes to watch the turtles in the pond. I would let her look at them more often if she didn't want to eat them.
